Quinta da Musica

If you are looking for a modern, beautifully finished Villa near to a popular resort seething with discos and tourists, then Quinta da Musica is not for you. If however you feel that you need to get away from a busy lifestyle to enjoy a retreat of complete peace and tranquillity, where the only sound may be the call of a wild bird, then this is the place.

Quinta da Musica is a charming, rustic dwelling typical of the style in Southern Portugal around 200 years ago. It has been lovingly renovated and is situated in rolling countryside with a panoramic view from the top of the villa grounds.

 The pool is situated in pasture and woodland at the back of the house. There is a BBQ next to the pool area where you might like to try grilling fresh sardines Algarve style.

 The village of Santa Catarina is 4km away where you will find simple amenities such as Bank, Post Office, some shops and cafes and a restaurant serving typical Portuguese food.

 The nearest beach (Tavira) is 12km away but from Santa Catarina there is ample opportunity to explore the Algarve’s varied attractions.

For the period July 15th. to August 31st. this villa has 3 extra bedrooms and the price is an extra £200 per. week. 
There is a shared kitchen so it should be just one group.

ROUTE DIRECTIONS

 On leaving the airport follow the road signposted Faro---Keep straight on (do not take the slip road to Faro) SIGN POSTS will say S.Bras or (S.Bras de Alportel) you will come off the short motorway to the S.Bras road.

 Keep to this road for approx. 6 km. You will pass a sigh reading N2 Sao Bras de Alportel and shortly afterwards a sigh S.Bras de Alportel,Estoi. Keep straight on to the IP1 motorway Direction ESPAGNE

 Stay on the motorway for 11 km then take the exit ramp (Exit 15) Olhão,Santa Catarina,Moncarapacho. Folllow sign posts direction Sta. Catarina (Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo) you will be on the N398.

 In aprox. 6 km from the motorway exit you will arrive at the Sta.Catarina roundabout. Go to your right direction Tavira (N270)

 Follow this road for 3.5 km (you will pass through a village Fonte da Bispo) and look for a sign post Hortas  Turn left here. You will shortly arrive at a T junction. Turn left onto a gravel track and in 0.4 km you will find Quinta da Musica (a white building with blue trim) on the left.
