Casa Bailey, a charming 2 bedroom cottage is situated very conveniently only 600m from the centre of the Portuguese village of Santa Barbara de Nexe with its church, estate agent and a good selection of restaurants, cafes and bars. Also a bank, Chemist and post office. Pauleena's mini market has a butcher and a good selection of most of the basics. 5 miles west is the bustling market town of Loule for fresh fish and all the fresh fruit and vegetables of the region and artisan goods e.g. wicker baskets and hand painted pottery. 11 miles south to Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo resorts with beautiful beaches and famous golf courses.

Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds.
Winter lets to include water and pool maintenance £700 per month. November to end of February. For two people, no pets please.

Changeover day
Sunday. We request you leave the villa by 10.30am to give us time to thoroughly prepare for the next guests arrival at 4.00pm. We can be more flexible in low season.

ACCOMMODATION

Bedrooms:	2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin bedded.
Bathrooms:	1 large full bathroom.
Kitchen:	Kitchen, fully fitted and well equipped with washing machine.
Living Rooms:	The living room with TV and video, and the adjoining dining area, are both decorated in traditional dark wood.
Other:	The double bed is an extra large kingsize, 6'6" x 6'6". Twin beds in the smaller bedroom
Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service:	There is maid service mid week, To freshen the bathroom, wash through all the floors and dust.

Notes on accommodation
A fairly typical Portuguese cottage of quite generous proportions with high ceilings, well furnished, still having the feel of a family home.

Outside
The living room door leads you out to a cobbled terrace, and the panoramic view to the coast 15kms away. 10 steps down to the private pool area and terrace with sun beds, sunshades, a table and chairs. There is also a barbecue area with table and chairs for alfresco meals.

The coast is 15km.

Travel
The airport is 12km. Car hire is recommended but not absolutely essential as there is a limited bus service passing through Santa Barbara between Loulé and Historic Faro, the capital of the Algarve.
