The Hotel is sited beside the A149 at Wayford Bridge and is a mile and a
half outside Stalham, home to some of the largest boatyards in the
Norfolk Broads and where the well known film "Swallows &
Amazons" was made. We are ideally located for both the businessman
and the holiday maker alike, only half an hours travel from either
Norwich or Great Yarmouth and fifteen minutes travel from Bacton Gas
Terminal, yet sited in the heart of the Norfolk Broads - England's
newest National Park, making for a great venue for activity holidays,
with good walking on the nearby Weavers Way, bird watching on the many
nearby nature reserves, boating and fishing on the Broads. The excellent
and largely undiscovered beaches of the North Norfolk coast are within
easy reach
All
rooms are are en-suite, most of them with both bath and shower and offer
Colour Televisions with Teletext, Direct dial Telephone, Trouser Press
and Tea and Coffee making facilities
Most of the rooms are river facing and are on both ground floor and
first floor levels. One twin bedded room is equipped for those
guests with mobility problems
