The New
Inn, Lower Street, that has now been under new ownership for the last 4
years, is the oldest pub in Horning. Featured on BBC and ITV
holiday programmes, it has a large riverside garden, recently refurbished with a garden bar and
children’s play area. It has moorings for approx. 20 boats. The New Inn
is the only privately owned pub on the main river and it has been in the
same family for
the past 11 years.
The interior is famous for its antiquities and memorabilia.
We
offer fresh Cromer crab and lobster (when available), also the steak & ale
pies , steak & stilton pies
It is noted for its food
far and wide and the Brisbane Courier and Mail reported on a previous
visit:-
“Demanding genuine
pub food, we sampled it on the Broads and awarded FIRST PRIZE to the Steak
and Stilton Pie at the
New Inn, Horning”.
The Management
and staff are friendly and helpful and try to make your holiday as
enjoyable as possible.
