AMANDA-JAYNE SMITH
Born 5th. May 1961--Died 28th. February 1985
Mandy was my only daughter who tragically died in a car accident when she was 23 years old. 
The saddest day of my life.
She was the daughter of my previous marriage to Martin but Mike also treated as his own.
She attended the Notre Dame Convent School in Norwich all her school days and greatly admired the Nuns and the Sisters that taught her.
She left school and started to train as a hairdresser but then she decided to go into the services as a Wren. Big mistake!!!
After 2 weeks she was home again, thank goodness, and then went to work in Jarrolds of Norwich as a sales girl.  It was here that she met the great snooker player, Steve Davis, when he was an up and coming lad and on a visit to Norwich.
Her best friend was Tracey and they did everything together, even to starting in amateur dramatics.  She was killed as she was rehearsing for "Calamity Jane" which was performed at the Puppet Theatre in Norwich after she died.
Her boyfriend at the time was Tony whom she thought the world of.  He has since married.
