Grand Canyon - Nevada We paid a visit to the Grand Canyon the first time in snow and sleet and when we finally got there after a 5 hour journey through wintry conditions, we couldn't see a thing as the cloud cover was below us. But we took some pics which are below. Because of the weather we also couldn't take our paid for plane trip over and through the canyon but a visit to the Imax Theatre did virtually the same thing only seated in rows. A wonderful thing those Imax Theatres with a screen of 8 stories high and 80ft. long.
